I was trying to find out how they determine who gets severance and who gets retention bonus, and so far I haven’t been able to figure it out. Whenever I ask a colleague, no one knows. Here on another thread I read that one person is not clear about the formula by which he got more retention bonus than another worker who has worked here for more than ten years. How is that possible? I don’t understand at all.

Full time associates retention bonus was your average weekly pay times the number of years up to 10 years maximum.

Check your accruals for this year.... If you’re higher than anticipated does that mean they are calculating severance for end of fiscal year? When I asked my SM he said you know those are never right. Lol

It’s really simple; you willing to go down all the way MT’s taint, you’re retained. If not, you get severed.
