Haven't heard anything about more U.S. layoffs, does that mean these are strictly Canada-related?

I heard, just a few days ago, that more were fired in California just in the past month.
Corp layoffs usually happen in March so many should be worried. Centers are closing in my former newly expanded territory. 199 leases are up this year, they are losing money in the centers and said in the investor's meeting in August they would be closing a good amount of the centers. Would only be keeping open what they deemed super centers. They are selling product in places they never did before like the Vitamin Shoppe and Kohls, the writing is on the wall.
Layoffs are done for now
Or am I missing something?
