They laid off the competent people with passion for drilling first. This was mainly driven by fear for their own positions. In the good times even bad managers can make a profit. In challenging times true leadership is required. By cutting all the skills and knowledge out in the early stage of the downcycle they positioned themselves for not being able to jump on the train when the recovery started. Glad I was part of the competent bunch!
Sell your shares now? What? I bailed way back in 2015 and put the money in target funds. While I left the company in 2016, after a closure, I have been lazy about transferring my 401K over to my new employer. The account is still holding up, but less than 1 % in NOV stock. Going to finally transfer the account to my new employer and be done with it.
Sell your NOV shares now before they lose any value they have left, heck even Gamestop would be a better investment lmao

With NOV’s vicious cycle of missing earnings estimates & cutting worker bees to reduce cash outflow, one has to wonder if they ever will show a profit? Who’s going to do the work? Who is going to develop new products? Pathetic. And management seems to be secure for the most part.
We better hire some more VP’s and figure this c-ap out!!!!

That’s correct since 2014. Ironically but not shockingly, it’s the same year this Chief Elfecutive Officer took over. The funny part is he along with his team of flunkies keep blaming it on other factors. When is the board & shareholders going to wake up and throw these do-nothings out???
