Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

NBLX acquisition

Anyone have any insight into possible layoffs from the NBLX buyout? What group it will be rolled into, who might be vulnerable to layoffs, etc?

I smell efficiencies on the NBLX side. Their support groups should get those resumès ready.

Wouldn’t it be rolled into midstream (CPC)?

The NBXl buyout of midstream assets will likely go to the downstream group. The comments below are just silly. No layoffs would occur.

Read history of Chevron of Appalachia and their acquisition of Atlas, Cheif, and AB resources for total of over 10 Billion in 2 years time frame and then selling it all after 10 years at $750 million and letting go many folks, that should teach you something about Chevron excellent planning and vision!

how about this for 'insight' :

xom continues continues up up and away, and cvx is left behind in a historic energy rally.

not only will poor nblx folks be cut ... their cvx shares will be depressed (at least compared to competitors).

please please mw DO NOT show up on CNBC - it's a death knell for cvx price EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

when will cvx bod finally be held accountable to SHAREHOLDERS ?
