The Managers won’t come if you call them, they don’t want to be bothered..Our Store Manager gave out his Override Code so we can use it at the register and not call and bother anyone.....They go on and on about Metrics and harass you about e-mail capture and credits...at this point, I have to ride it out for a variety of reasons but everyday is a hard challenge.....I wanted to believe the best but they have crushed the life out of us and really, no one cares anymore......

Oh yeah, we always have morning meetings about sales from the previous day, credits, email captures, app downloads, goals for the day., which registers will be open, and being patient with the impatient customers.

Morning meetings?
Our store stopped those way back during the shut-down. What would they meet about anyway? Who’s covering which lunch? Who called out today? How many departments one associate is covering? We had ONE associate for 2 hours when the store opened the other morning. Lack of merchandise isn’t the only thing keeping customers away.

Omg, I know! Every morning meeting is always about getting those credits. Man if everyone in this area doesn't have a friggin Belk card by now then they're never going to get one. It's always who is in what position in the region. We need to be at 50% on email captures. Shoot, I hate getting emails from Belk. I unsubscribe and they still send me emails. It's very annoying. I don't even care about the Rewards dollars.
But yeah, it's every stinking retail store.
