THE UNION IS A JOKE IN GENERAL.WE SHOULD ALL FILL OUT THE FORM FOR MINIMUM DUES.ITS NOT LIKE WE NEED REPRESENTATION OR VOTE ON ANYTHING ANYWAY

they don't even have to sign away rights. they won't even enforce the rules that are still in the contract. goes for the TWU also
It’s the unions fault for giving up the work. They have been bluffed into signing off their rights in past contract negotiations. RRs promised more jobs,which meant more union dues. It’s not the fault of our current president. If there is any blame it’s big business man that would not pay his own bills.
Yes that is the point it is in our contract that ttx can work on ttx cars that should have never been allowed in contract yes i was put in a worse position because of it ttx also has box cars gondolas and covered hoppers they are doing more than repairing there cars they are terminal testing the trains not in the contract .its contract time dont sighn until ttx is taken out of contract.
What exact locations lost jobs to TTX. I know there were several intermodal facilities that were contracted out but it was actually allowed by contract. Where are the locations you speak of?
Off point a bit yes we are losing jobs to ttx and the brc sold out every carman at ns by letting ttx on the property men we need to fight for our jobs..
This always makes me sad. Every time someone comes up with a valid point someone has to snipe at it and ruin the whole thing. This is why we are losing and they are winning. We need to find a way to dissolve all the unions and make one or two that represent US. Establish language in the by laws to suit US and get rid of those who have become to comfortable in there positions and take care of there needs instead of the one they are supposed to represent. The people that represent us should be working right next to us everyday. Because those who don’t have to live by the rules they agree upon don’t care about them.
