The modern Allstate model is to outsource where you can, and hire the cheapest possible talent in Northbrook and regional offices to do the day to day operational work. Recognizing that there will be high burnout and turnover. Meanwhile Allstate will continue to try and hire the “best and brightest” of young talent out of college and MBA school to fuel its management ranks. The “middle class”’ at Allstate is methodically being eliminated. It’s the same with the other publicly traded insurance providers.
