It reminds me of when Terry Lundgren stepped down from Macy's in 2017. He "retired" as CEO earlier in the year, but then stepped down from the Board of Directors as well during December. The stores were still viewed as power houses when he stepped out of the picture, but perhaps he saw some writing on the wall that we didn't.
Never implied he was a failure that was your own quick to judgment. My point is the world is going green. Hence Amazon might go under at some point. Or change to green. Macy’s is still selling Chinese sweatshop clothing
