Remember when we had morning meetings and the managers would tell us how sales were and what they want us to do? Now they won't say anything. I dare someone from corporate to come on here and tell us exactly what's going on for a change.

Plus, have you seen some of the people who work at BN? Would you hire them?
Not me.
To: You BN employees are just being stubborn
Many B&N employees have no skills that will translate to the new real world,
no updated resumes and B&N doesn't look good on them,
are too old (companies don't want anyone over 35 now),
lazy and too scared to look,
no confidence,
easier to stick with the horrible environment you know instead of taking a chance on something you'll even hate more.

There are tons of jobs. You BN employees are just being stubborn and think BN will live forever, it won't. I found a job in 3 weeks, which is incredibly fast in today's climate. You could find a job in the same amount of time. So why are you staying with a job that pays minimum wage and offers unstable hours and no health benefits? You were warned 3 years ago. Down with BN, Daunt, Riggio.
There is plenty of jobs out there. But if you think you are in a prestigious one, you might overlook “ essential “ ones.
In case you haven’t noticed,
There’s not a plethora of jobs out there.
You haven’t been listening. Bookstores past and present have been warning you to GET OUT . The question is: why haven’t you listened?
Has ANYONE heard anything? I'd settle for ghosts of bookstores' past howling GET OUT!!!
We ALL know Mgrs and regionals don’t have the guts to come on here and tell the truth. The BN culture is built on secrets and lies.
Cowards.
