No way costco would damage their respectable reputation by getting in bed with a company that has a terrible reputation like walmart.
Go into a costco & look how their employees carry themselves at work compared to the ones at walmart. You won't see saggy pants, ear buds, & hoodies on the being worn on the sales floor in costco.
Why would they merge with Costco when they have Sam’s that does the same business. There is no absolute way for this to happen.

Been a rumor since 2018. Not going to happen. Costco customers detest Walmart. Plus Walmart will never pay Costco wages and benefits.
Sears, Ace Hardware and Macy*s are merging into a Mega Store called SAM. They will sell everything from chainsaws and tools all the way to yogurt.

I doubt this is true, but if it is, and that's one huge 'IF', Walmart is desperate and have run out of mediocre ideas to succeed in retail.
Hmm don’t know if I believe it. Walmart has Sams Clubs why would they want to merge with another wholesale store.
