I am dissatisfied with the health benefits in this company and they are most important to me. I am particularly concerned that some think the situation could get even worse with regards to health benefits.
So I wonder if Walmart has been reducing health benefits for the past few years? I don’t know because I haven’t been in this company for a long time. Thanks for the info.

I work for another retailer. We went from co share insurance to HSA several years ago. Big difference to those who used the plan. Does Wal-Mart only offer HSA as well?
Walmart has great insurance as long as you stay healthy.
I wouldn't use the word 'reducing.' What Walmart has been doing is shifting the ownership of health onto the associate. This can be good or bad. It's good (well okay) if you keep yourself healthy and don't get ill often and have to take time off from work. If you do get sick a lot or a family member does then it could be bad because you are spending more and more out of your your pocket.
Walmart's health insurance has morphed into more of a catastrophic type insurance. They nickel and dime your wallet on the small stuff but is there for something major like cancer or a major car accident.
Hope that helps.
