I was younger and I was paid enough so that before I wasn’t even aware of how this company was essentially mentally abusing its employees.
It seemed really nice on the surface but in reality nothing was as great as it looked.
I've spent many years here and I don’t have much left until retirement, but I would never, ever repeat this experience.

If I was a high school teacher I would focus on all the a$$hole kids, like I mean the kids you really really don’t like, and tell them they should go into oil and gas. That would be sweet revenge for having to teach the vermin.
Probably why I’m not a teacher. Ha
I am reasonably young and was laid off. I would never repeat this again. My job was a very difficult experience
I’m in the same boat; less than 10 years to retirement so retraining for a new career isn’t really in the cards for me.
I hope young people reconsider careers in oil and gas and realize how limited the long term future is in this business. This company in particular treats people as a cheap commodity to be used, abused and discarded.
