Tax hikes

Do you think we will survive the biggest federal tax increase in 30 years plus corporate taxes going back up? Or will that billion dollar renovation be in vain? Inflation from this last bill is also supposed to hit us this year. It will be a battle for sure.

Companies only have to pay taxes on profits, so based on this years results I don’t think we have much to worry about.

Many companies took those tax cuts and gave it right back to the employees in the form of bonuses. The companies that never pocketed the saving to stay afloat should be ok. BBBY on the other hand can't count on that because they kept it all and now will have to count for the 7% in lost net income. Not good news.

And the corporate taxes going from 21% to 28% ? The tax cuts in 2017 are probably what kept some jobs around longer and stores still open. This will be a game changer for sure.

If you are concerned about the federal tax hikes that means you are making $400,000 a year.
