In a company that talks about how important "Omni" is as part of the Polaris strategy, our ability to execute simple software and systems initiatives is embarrassing. In addition to the issues with Macysjobs, we have had a new HR systems update called Phoenix that has yet to rise from the ashes.
We are currently going on the fourth week of systems delays which prevent anyone within the company from hiring. We have open jobs all over the place and can't hire anyone. Stores are expected to fill their jobs and one of our many scorecards penalizes teams if they don't fill all of their hours and shifts. Our store in Chicago is up 20% to plan and nobody cares that we have so many open jobs, just being told that managers have to figure it out, which seems to be the mantra of the company. Nothing works the way it is supposed to but it is on the stores to figure it out. Can we get a few programs from Amazon?
