Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Can’t say enough

I can’t tell you how much I hate it here. From my first business trip where my boss’s boss’s boss tried to make the moves on me in a hotel over 20 years ago, to it just happening again before Covid. This place crawls with creeps. When I reported the first one to senior management, nothing was ever said to me again- eventually he retired 5 years later without any reprimand. And the pattern repeated , at least 6 times. Why not lay off all of the people with questionable records in their HR files? Maybe then morale would take an upturn. Nothing else is working for us...focus on the real issues.

The ethics line is worthless. I’ve been the beneficiary here. They pick and choose which ones to act on based on who’s involved. Would never want to tarnish the reputation of one of the golden/chosen ones.

I’ve seen them deal with problems. Report to the ethics hotline. If you haven’t reported - they can’t address.

There’s more than one bad guy in that place. Decades worth of them and instead of laying them off, they get promoted to VP

Same. Wish I would’ve reported mine before getting laid off. Now nothing can be done to punish the bad guy.

Is there a site where you can actually report this stuff and names (outside of the company)? Nothing happens internally except retaliation and future layoffs for those who report issues.
