Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

T-Mobile used to be better than this

I admit, we've always had layoffs but nothing even close to what's been happening lately. Work atmosphere used to be enjoyable, I don't remember ever waking up with a knot in my stomach over having to face another workday. That's changed as well. With all the toxicity, everybody seems to be on edge these days. It's downright depressing. There isn't much I wouldn't give to go back to the way things used to be...

Morale is trash out in stores unless you drink the TMO Kool aid and love being on twitter trying to show yourself off 🙄

Latest Ready to Rock It surveys have been thrashing TMO/metro

Big layoffs coming soon

If you are feeling this way you should pursue something better. Took a long time to realize but every challenge presents opportunity if you can see that. Sounds like a bunch of c-ap but it’s not. While you are there, look outside and find something better. Either that or get your degree while you there if you do not have. It has run its course. It WAS a great place to be, that part is sad as we all get older. We all want what use used to have. Find the next great thing. It’s not easy but get to it. The charisma of the leadership rolled down hill with Legere. You would run through a wall for that guy. He gone, so has the soul of the company. The new folks up top don’t have people buying in, that’s why morale stinks. It’s all about reporting and analytics because that’s view style of the leader. Before it used to be about people. Think about that...

I hate working here now. Too many middle management talking heads who all have to have their brilliant ideas implement (translation = trash), honestly, the company would be better off slashing about 80% of their mgmt team (who do NOTHING but run mindless report after report after report until they've created analysis paralysis). I say this from a somewhat lower mgmt position, but please JUST STOP. Saying moral is in the gutter would be a big understatement.
