Has anyone ever heard of them approving a disability leave for mental illness?
I called segwick and they gave me the impression that they were going to approve it, but now it’s becoming a hassle and I’m afraid they won’t.
Any advise or stories? I’m struggling to make sense of this.
PS: They send my documents to the wrong fax number, doctor never received them and they never send me over any documents as well.
Was my first time taking a leave, and they didn’t explain it well

You would have to be mentally ill to work for Lowes. I’m sorry, I hope you get the help you need OP
The Federal Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides protected leave for mental health concerns considered as a serious medical condition. If the effects of stress or another mental health condition are getting the best of you at work, check your employee handbook. Lowes may offer programs geared toward improving the mental health of their workers like the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP helps workers access mental health counseling for free to address personal problems happening at home or work. You may qualify to take up to 60 days off for stress leave within a year. Sometimes taking a stress or another mental health condition is necessary when your work performance is affected. Sometimes a person may feel depressed or burned out and not realize they may qualify to receive a FMLA leave for stress-related reasons. Using FMLA protects your employment while you’re away. It’s important, to be honest with your symptoms when talking with your doctor. It helps determine qualifications and how FMLA applies.
