I don't know what I enjoy more, WFH or what the idea of WFH does to some people. Priceless!

You are all a bunch of spoiled individuals wanting the work from home option or some element of it for ever ( for a full time EMPLOYEE). If you are a contractor then work from home makes sense but not for employees with benefits. Get back to work physically or don’t work as an employee with great benefits. Your world war 2 era grandparents would be appalled at your work ethic.

I like both Oxys Covid response and being cautious about returning to full time work at the office. I pray we have a combination of WFH and Office so everyone can benefit most from own preferences. She did mention wants folks back, so we will likely have a combination.

We are all happy about the WFH possibilities but it can’t last forever.

What the hell is “woke” and where did that come from. I am seeing that more and more and it just seems like people have lowered themselves by using this term.

WFH is amazing and I love that Oxy is woke enough to embrace it the way they are. It’s a life changer. More productivity at work and at home. All around better life. Still get plenty of face and chat time via teams.

You seem to be antisocial if you don’t like the small talk at work. Are you afraid to tell people to go away in a polite way. Like, “ I would love to continue this conversation but I have something I really need to work on”. And then close your door leaving a little crack open. Unless you are in a cubicle then that is tough. Your home life must be a real nightmare if you can’t even work with coworkers. It is all about communication. 3D, and in person.

I'm thinking the anti-WFH guy is permanently at home, if you know what I mean. So he's both jealous and angry at the prospect that it get's extended further.

I'm also thinking he's the same guy who thinks complaining about the microscopic dividend on an employee layoff site is actually going to change the situation.

Come to think of it, maybe he's actually an Oxy manager. Yea, that's it.

I don't get the anti work from home guy that keeps posting. Get a life dude. Work from home is here to stay if you don't like it retire, boomer! We are getting our work done just fine from home. I honestly get more done without running into 300 people a day in the hallways or them stopping by my office to chat.

Hopefully no work from home options in the future except for your Fridays off. You people are trying to manipulate management into a flexible work schedule. Hopefully they are not gullible like that. But if you want a pay cut perhaps a part time job is what you are looking for.

Why do say Oxy is better because they don’t have people in at the office and other companies do? Perhaps the others work in buildings
that are designed better for the situation. Having less than 4 floors in the building would have made it easier to have people back to the office. The old Oxy century plaza campus would have been great for working during covid.

I thought it was another example of Oxy handling this right. I have friends and relatives that have been working in the office the whole time. Oxy has handled this better than most.

Maybe they will give you an extra bonus for the inconvenience of having to work from home. Spoiled rotten individuals.

Survey is good. At least they want to know what general populous thinks about work from home and vaccine in general. I bet on my hoots that WFH is delayed until August end.

They are trying to get rid of the people who don’t buy into VH’s agenda. She said it years before becoming CEO. If you aren’t with my addenda get out. This is another check to make sure the sheep are following. As good little sheep watch out there may be dogs around.

To be honest, I'm not sure why they asked us to take this survey. Obviously, we're not returning to the office until everyone is vaccinated, so maybe they really want to know if there are any major issues that could adversely affect the business if they extend WFH beyond May 31st.

Workplace as a physical entity or as an organization is better than the individual people.
