I’m not looking forward to anyone’s layoff, I’m very sorry for anyone who loses their job, but I was genuinely relieved when one cliqueish group got laid off.
I thought that something would change without them, that the atmosphere in the store would improve, but no dice, a new clique is being formed.
Worst of all, I’ve never seen a clique bring good vibes, it always spreads negative energy.

If you think that cliques only spread negativity, then you're simply in the wrong clique. This isn't something exclusive to any single company. It started in school, and continues in the workplace and beyond. It's just life. Find a place where you fit and it will be better for you. My favorite place to work felt like one big happy clique.
Time to seek counseling.
