Thread regarding Marathon Oil Corp. layoffs

If you’ve got the skills, move on

A lot of employees have the skills to make it in other industries but many believe MRO is the be-all-and-end-all company. Why, I have no idea. I left the middle of last year and am in a position that utilizes my skills to its fullest. I am well compensated by a company that values me as an employee and the culture is one of the best I’ve experienced so far. Trust me, unless you’re ready to retire or are close to it - Marathon isn’t the end of the line.

@9ggm+19IShE7y Please share examples of what you mean. Otherwise, stfu and take that mess elsewhere.

It all comes down to the people they hire. Unfortunately, they brought in quite a bit of trash from Noble (particularly in Land and Bakken Asset) in the last couple years and that hasn’t helped anything.

Agree! But MRO was the timeline end for many and now with the changes of dynamics, MRO NO LONGER, stands for what it use to mean!!!
MRO has lost ALL morals, values & integrity for the grounds they were once valued for...
