I've been with walmart for 17 years..and for 10 years I have worked Sun thru Thursday..and now they are wanting me to have split days off which is Sunday's and Thursdays. But why? I already worked every Sunday and thought that was the requirement to work either 1 Sat or Sun or both. This doesn't make any sense.

I’m glad people are finally figuring it out. I would get a job somewhere else before you invest all your time there. it doesn’t get better ever!
BOO WHO WHO!!! A bunch of babies. I collect unemployment. Come in their daily to wipe you clean. Have everyday off and still make more than you. Take that down your pipe and smoke it!!!
I have Sunday and Wednesday off now I’m not changing it. I will see what happens. If I don’t like what they have to offer after 10 years of having these days I will leave. That is their main goal here I think. To get rid of FT associates. They are an awful company anyways. Coworkers are jumping ship everyday. It’s gotten so bad.
@1kud+19GJls1M. My availability days off for 7 years has always been Fri and Sat. And now they want me to have Sun and Thur off
You can keep it, you might make yourself part-time or less.
Are you able to keep your same availability or are they trying to change that as well?
They are trying to change everyone's schedule; they don't care if you have had the same days off for 15 years. They wouldn't be doing that if they had UNIONS! Moving people from 3rd shift to 2nd.
They wanna make sure that your life revolves around walmart.
Does anything make sense at Walmart? You give them too much credit. They have been erratic for 15 years.
I warned every one; a lot of people thought I was lying, and it was only for Team Leads. One of many reasons why I left after 20 years.
I've have had Friday and Sunday off for years.
That's walmart for you. I think they want everyone to have split days off and screwed up schedules. Just to screw your life up , O wait what life!!!!
