Does anyone know what's the point of frequent store remodeling? I don't get it. Someone mentioned here that their store will be remodeled for the third time in two years. It is such an absurdity.
Instead of dealing with some of the many big problems we have, management is dealing with remodeling of stores.
They are totally reckless.

They had to test remodel concepts to figure out what the customer would want. They now have their plan and are running it with 450 stores. So I’m thinking it’s a good thing. And why would you complain you are getting a new look? Maybe it will help your traffic in your store!
That's a bit of an exaggeration, isn't it? New signage and banners, and moving some shelves around don't make it a full on "remodel".

Yeah I feel like there are too many chefs in the kitchen right now when it comes to the higher ups. Crazy amounts of mix ups and illogical decision as completely revamping the store over and over won’t bring back the customer traffic like before.
Hi. I’m the one that mentioned it.
1st one: Paint job (ugly blue). Replace signs. A new entrance Rug. A new “Que” line. Adding price checkers.
2nd one (JANUARY!!): Replacing the signs AGAIN...adding a blue plaster to cover all the empty spaces atop. Adding a new “BOPIS” shelf (basically got rid of trash cans and message chairs to do so).
3rd one is coming this summer!! I don’t have details...but we are getting rid of stuff left and right yet told we aren’t closing....as shipments from CLOSING stores roll in along with leftover Christmas stuff and summer items. It’s an absolute mess out back!
Orland in Illinois remodeled and went under as well.
We went thru a remodel then went into liquidation 3 months after
