Here’s the thing though. Can anyone tell me what our motivation is to work hard and make this purchase of husky work and the integration successful. If all we are being told is at anytime you may or may not be laid off at any point during the year who cares if the integration goes smoothly. Just collect your pay check and ride it out. Only ones who benefit are the management when they all get their retention bonuses in 6 months. Not us peons.
I could be wrong but thought I had heard it was 600 for the first wave, 900 planned for the upcoming second wave with the remaining reductions to occur throughout this year and early next year as integration projects wrap up.
Comparing the address book before and after layoffs would give a good number as to how many heritage CVE were laid off but you'd also need a buddy at Husky to do the same comparison to get the combined total. Wish I had thought of this for the January reductions.
950ish first round, then 500? this round, because there are still all those who will be let go once the integration activities are finished late this year.
it's easy to figure it out. Before layoffs copy all the company email addresses from outlook into excel, a day after the lay-offs do the same thing. Difference between the two lists are those layed-off.
Whatever. You have NO idea how many people were let go last time or how many will go this time. You are just making an assumption ....
The 1000 number might be a bit light!! Approx 930 let go first round so 1200 this round approx
