After more than 10 years at Walmart, they told me they didn’t need me anymore. I was really disappointed and felt terrible.
I recently got a new job, I work in a small grocery store, but I am still feeling the stress of being laid off. Since then, I have only gone to Walmart once, to the one where I worked. It was awful to see the tired faces of former colleagues from a customer's perspective. Now when I need to go shopping, I’d rather go somewhere else. When I visit this page sometimes, I see that nothing's changed for the better, only worse.

Forgive yourself and get on with the business of enjoying life. I left the company about a half day before the corporate goons were going to grim-reaper my a$$ out of the company. I found another job and haven't regretted it for a minute. That was almost 2 years ago. Remember, you did nothing wrong. Also remember that Karma is real, and those corporate folks prostituting what little is left of their integrity at the altar of the almighty dollar will some day pay for the people they have hurt in pointless climb up the corporate razor wire ladder.
Pity them.
