Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Out of Here

I'm leaving. After almost 7 years I'm outta here.

I was lucky, got paid for 7 years. Although never got a raise - was told someone else on the team (who was a higher grade) made less than me. Not my problem! But still, I was left to let it go.

My STI hasn't been 100% since 2018. This year it was 95%. I know that 100% isn't guaranteed, but tired of taking from me to give to others. We all work hard. All I ever asked was to be fair. Not possible.

I think AIG stands for Accenture International Group.....

Time for employees and customers to leave once management consultants infiltrate a company. They only had value to senior executives that are incompetent...

7 years is a while. Hope you landed a great opportunity. A job is only that, folks. Don't wrap your life in it. Family and friends and YOU matter more than your job.

If the pandemic taught us anything, hopefully it's that we should value what matters.

Work is never fair in the individuals eyes. Maybe someone else really worked hard and produced more than you. Not everyone deserves the same pay or bonus. There is only so much available bonus money to go around. Giving everyone 100% is not fair to those who go above and beyond
