There was some discussion here about Walmart and Amazon in general, about the business of these two companies. However, no one talked about the differences when it comes to working conditions for us workers. At Walmart, I know how it is and lately I’ve been thinking about applying at Amazon. Has anyone had such an experience?
My wife is trying to talk me out of it saying that the world of retail is more or less the same everywhere and that I wouldn’t be much happier at Amazon either.
Does anyone here have any experiences to share for comparison?

More strict at Amazon. They hold you accountable for your work ethic and production. They have a small team that monitors everybody from the time you get there until you leave. Including making sure you don't take too long for breaks.
I don’t know but I wonder why so many people that work at Amazon are applying to work at Walmart . Either they have already quit there or are about to do it as soon as they get hired at Walmart .
I left Walmart after 5 years and went to Amazon warehouse 4 months ago. Night and day difference. Will never go back to Walmart.
It would be a plus no dealing with customers or working events.
