Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Why are they rude?

Basically, I really don’t know why management is rude and arrogant. Is there a reason? There is absolutely no reason. I'm thinking how much better would this place be to work if only they had a little different behavior? Just a little, to treat other employees as human beings, nothing more than that. Perhaps it is in human nature that as soon as we gain some power, we begin to humiliate those below us.

It’s really uncalled for considering it’s retail and a five and dime. It’s not rocket science. It shouldn’t be run like a state prison.

I can tell u management is treated like sh– and totally disrespected by the market and regional teams so that may explain some of it. Walmart is a bad company plain and simple.

One reason I left after 20 years. I got new management horrible attitudes very disrespectful. They were ( all ) terminated after a few years of theft. I guess what comes around goes around!

Same at my store. Rude and disrespectful management. Some don’t even speak to you or when they do they are extremely rude, disrespectful, and belittling.
