Hear they are cutting costs at every corner..... anyone else seeing this?

Every year there are terrible leaders who refuse to spend money to manage the business and the facilities we work in. I wouldn’t sweat it as this is a trait in poor leaders.
My supervisor asked me if I liked apples today when we were on a route ride. I told them yes. She then told me I would not be getting any raise this year and asked me “ How do you like dem apples - bahahahaha”
