So congratulations to those that made the cut. Now you get to sit around and wait for more cuts in March. I really like looking around and seeing directors with three leads reporting to them and multiple managers or VPs where there was one before. It’s awesome seeing mgmt looking after themselves right before our eyes. Add on top of this all the promotions and it’s enough to make you sick. Maybe the lucky ones were let go?
This will lead to our next round of layoffs in a year where they realize we have too much useless mgmt and the cuts will come again and we will once again have one VP of EH&S vs the four or five we have now. Then all the useless directors under these VPs that serve no purpose will be cut. Those promotions can be not what they appear.
In closing great job Alex, lots of difficult decisions, too bad you didn’t apply the same rigour to the upper layers. You’re just like Brian F, enriching the management at the expense of the employees.
Slow clap.
