Some of the price action in the stock may have nothing to do with actual performance and may be a reflection of "Shorting" in the stock market. This is happening to a number of retailers such as Gamestop.
Macy's has a short interest of 28.6% and it was a little higher a little while ago. Maybe a little "short squeeze" going on here. Gamestop's "short interest" was up to 140%.

I think its a combination of OMNI doing exceptionally well and the huge amounts of job cuts and closures looming. The insiders are well aware of whats going on and will buy now before the prices surge even more. Be prepared to work even harder.
