After being told that we were getting paid for MLK day my store was told that because we are a union store no holiday pay for us. Can anyone who works in a union store verify this.

Different union stores have different contracts. If you aren’t getting paid for it, then your union failed to fight for you to have it. One of the major downsides of being unionized...
I work at an Union store and I got paid for MLK and I got time and half for working that day.
No, there is not holiday pay for all stores. If you go to AskHR and click on knowledge. Do a search for holiday pay and it will list the stores that are the exception.
Only extra pay if you worked that day for union stores
