Usually it’s rocking for 5 or 6 weeks not 1 day. It’s over for Macy’s. Done. Get out.

Please post factual information when it comes to Macy's future. I hope you are right, but wishful thinking is just that. This holiday retail season has been scary. Macy's has lost its' way. Going forward, the company needs to decide who it's customer is. How can the same selling floor offer Ralph Lauren AND put such a focus on its Last Act merchandise? If Macy's tries to be something for everyone- it winds up being nothing to anyone.

Only 150 stores are “ rocking “ out of 800 of Macy’s stores. So “ rocking “ is subjective. Hence the subject of growth stores. They started with. 150 trying to go to 250. You see clearly the wording of “ growth “ is slapping happy to sh$t. It’s so you don’t panic and quit.

My store in southeastern Pa. was sadly very slow at least until mid afternoon. Hopefully things picked up but am very saddened and worried about our future after inventory. After 30 Christmas seasons I would hate to have it end this way.

One "good" (yet below last year) sales day is not going to save this sinking ship.
