Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

No corporate protection plan in new stimulus package

This is follow up to an older thread. Now that there is no clause for corporations to be protected if employees become ill at work due to the virus do you think the company will mandate vaccinations as part of an employment agreement? Or do you think they will just beef up and enforce stronger PPE guidelines? Keep in mind the clause was so employees couldn’t sue for hospital/doctor bills incurred while being exposed at work. What does anyone think will happen? Let’s try to keep the conversation clean to keep the discussion from being deleted.

"the microscopic world was nothing anyone feared until you were told to fear it."

So no human should have feared; Ebola, Spanish Flu, Marburg,Rabies,HIV,Smallpox,Influenza,SARS-CoV,MERS-CoV? These are all viruses. Or did we fear it after we were told? Should the human race simply let the virus take its course?

Yes we all know the survival rate, but what if you have underlying conditions?

Are you saying covid 19 is a a way for companies to make money?

cause what an awesome precedent that would set that an employer can put something in your body and/or make your healthcare choices for you. vaccines already have liability protection for the manufacturer which is bad enough . you add coercion to the mix from an employer and you enter into incredibly dangerous waters where youd pretty well have to expect pharma and employers would team up in backroom deals to push all sorts of things.

likewise employer mandating you do this, they should also have to sign a contract that they hold themselves liable for any and all negative outcomes both immediate and down the road.

you remove voluntary informed consent and you might as well acknowledge youre a slave.

and for anyone who says "you dont have the right to infect me..." stop buying into the pharma scam to sell their products. theres thousands of viruses, bacterias, molds, funguses out there....stop looking at your fellow humans as biohazards. the microscopic world was nothing anyone feared until you were told to fear it.

No. There is an inexpensive therapeutic/prophylactic. Anyone with more than a lukewarm IQ already knows about it. My hospital rolled it out 2 months ago, other countries did so 8 months ago. Just keep watching MSM for your daily dose of fear p–n instead of waking up!

Lowe*s will not mandate a vaccine, nor will any other retailer. This topic is all over the forum. At this point even Hospitals are not mandating vaccinations, healthcare will because its they already mandate Flu shots (virus protection). This will more than likely happen in 2-3 years (Healthcare) after long term effects can be evaluated and each organization puts its own stamp on it. Retailers can 'suggest' it but they mandate Flu shots, nor ask for proof of vaccinations. I don't see this changing.

The second issue of PPE (masks) for employee's and/or customers will continue, for a while IMO. Of course enforcing it is another story. We all have seen videos of customers going off on employee's and even in smaller stores about rights or some other topic. Also keep in mind people have been physically assaulted as well. Organizations do not want that type of news story , or a video on social media. It must be about protecting the brand first. So you can post a person (feel bad for them) or a sign at the door that you must wear a mask. Then the customer enters and of course takes it off while in the store. I wouldn't approach them, as that person is usually 'wanting' to be approached and is looking for the 'conversation' about why they don'r need a mask. Should "leadership" approach and ask them to leave? Yes, if that is the current policy. We have all heard 'no shirt, no shoes, no service' Being private property if you are following a state guideline or your own, that 'you must wear a mask' then enforce it. Lowe*s (or any other retailer) wouldn't allow me to enter with out shoes or a shirt, this is no different from that policy, with the exception of an airborne virus that has spread across the world. For the safety of employees and other customers all business's should enforce PPE for customers and employees.

Here is another twist for this thread. After folks get vaccinated are they going to enter places of business without a mask, and state ' I've been vaccinated, I don't need a mask!'
The vaccination keeps you from being very ill with Covid, but doesn't mean you can not be a carrier. Even the CDC said to keep wearing a mask after you have been vaccinated.

In the end it's about respecting one another against a virus. It's not a political statement, not a constitutionally wrong (again it is private property) and it's not that big of a deal to put on one.
