After almost four years, I can’t take it anymore. The atmosphere in this company started to affect my private life as well, because I am constantly dissatisfied. When I first got hired here, I couldn’t even imagine that the company valued its workers so little. Soon I'm beginning work in a new company where I believe their workers are valued more (if such companies still exist). After Allstate, who wouldn’t become distrustful of everything?

I will gladly trade you my heavily taxed severance for your job if you are at such a point of dissatisfaction.
Being an adjuster is a stressful role in it self. All companies may behave in the same manner but you have to weigh the pros and cons with each company. Currently the company is making a drastic shift where its not considering the future impact of its customers and employees. They are only concern with current investments and this will come with consequence if this path continues. I am sure management is commenting on this forum to deter current staff from leaving to another competitor. I believe as an individual you must do what is in your best interests no matter who it effects. It’s either you stay with the cloud of uncertainty over your head or you take your business elsewhere to see how it will turn out.
Have you considered the STOCK PRICE?? These customers keep paying TOP DOLLAR for the worst service imaginable!! Do you know what a “combined ratio” is?? WE making dem dollars! I mean, your life is miserable and customers are treated like dirt, but think of the INVESTORS and stop being so selfish!
I’m not understanding the rude comments? We’re all sick of this, in the claim dept anyway. Call after call it’s the same thing. My inspection is delayed for over a week or I can’t get ahold of my adjuster. Well these smarties just laid off a sh– ton of people in the DOC. And there is nothing they can do now except rehire. I’m sick of this too, OP.
Tell PROGGER I said hi, enjoy your 12 hour days
Good luck, buttercup. They are all the same.
