Thread regarding Bass Pro Shops layoffs

Hours cut after holidays

Schedules just went up and it looks like my stores hours are getting cut after Christmas. Even department heads are getting lowered to 28-32 hours. Thought we would have a little while long before that would happen. Anyone else experiencing this?

Full time employees are being scheduled and treated like part timers so managers can make their bonuses. Some store managers are cheaper than others that way; I know this from talking with people I know from other Bass Pro locations. Store managers say their are following base camp guide lines. I really wonder about that!!!!

It's retail. All retail companies cut hours after the holidays.
