GM partnering with Apple?

Bloomberg published an article about Apple's plans to build an electric, self-driving car in the next four years. Reportedly, in the process of building vehicles, they would rely on a manufacturing partner. It is still unknown who would assemble an Apple-branded car and I wonder if there is any chance that could be GM? Do you think our companies might be a good match?

Maybe it will be a good thing, like NUMMI. GM learned how to build less terrible cars and we all got Toyota.

GM will need to figure our braking systems before they consider autonomy. Maybe Apple can do that for them too?

"ancient cracker factory" – made me laugh.
I wish GM & all partners well in making the electric transition.

Apple is a high technology company. GM is an ancient cracker factory. Probably not.
