But the way the VP’s keep from firing managers is to fire the technical advisors, then make the managers the technical advisors. Seen it across the entire industry.

I am one of those technical advisors that were let go and replaced by a pseudo-manager that now is a pseudo-advisor.
But I am glad to be gone.

So many managers lack technical skills yet feel they need to make technical decisions on their own.
Leave the damn technical people alone and let them do what they know how to do, quit pushing soft skills on them to, F—!
