Take heart. Cenovus townhalls are telling their staff that the cuts will be made regardless of what company you work for and that seems to be true. We are seeing some of our management taking over key roles there. This might even be a reverse take over behind the scenes and it’s looking more and more like that’s the case.

As a former CVE person, It does not matter what is said in townhalls. 50/50 chanche of it being true and correct info being spewed. in good times it was mostly correct, pats on the back. in bad times it's mostly half truths.

LKS took over CVE and used the opportunity to drop HSE mgmt. What else happens its managed on a lower level by CVE. If you are not in HSE DS or part of the CCP you have about a 35% chance you will be let go.

It’s true. Husky VP’s are going to be in place as the Exec team wants to balance the fact it’s majority Cenovus. They want to politically balance both sides.
Time to face the cold hard truth and stop kidding yourself. If you work for Husky, it is time to start packing your bags especially if you are in management. Cenovus is running the show now. Period.

Husky management is taking over roles where there’s no equivalent at Cenovus. You can’t honestly think they’ll take any management from Husky oil sands do you? lol
How is this going to be a reverse takeover? The CLT has 2 Husky people on it out of 11.
