Why can’t management understand that the way you treat your employees will determine how productive we will be? At my location we are treated horribly yet at the same token, we are expected to give/show respect for them in return. This creates a terrible work environment - so is it any wonder many are not giving their 100%?

I agree “ company has no heart or class “. You all have to realize your position is expendable as you are only there to get the board of criminals rich and ceo. Those clowns don’t wanna hear what really is going on. They just wanna squeeze the numbers and you to get their millions in bonus. They know the conus doomed and they are cashing out before it goes down. I have a friend making a $1000 a week being a grunt at Amazon. Why stay for 24 hrs a week for $ 11? If you wanna work go to Amazon. I can’t wait to see what the cuts are
Macy's, like many employers, fail to recognize that their greatest asset is their employees.
If you don't like it go work somewhere else. Seems like you just want to stay so you have something to complain about.
i had a manager ask me out about ten times, i said "no" every time. then i quit. he also asked me if he could borrow $200 and he would pay me back $250. i said no to that as well. i quit shortly after that.
Being treated bad is wearing five layers of clothing on the sales floor in the store in the cold months . In the summer sweating all day with no ac or air circulation . Submitting tickets to corporate to increase or lower temperatures that only change for 30 minutes. Poor safeguards for covid. Finishing up with a customer after closing and clock out time and have it affect your reliability rating . Seventy plus year old people flipping 9x12 rugs and struggling to pull them out of the piles for customers. Working at Macys for years and making a decent living but seeing the quality of the company go down the toilet. The company has no heart or class. Horrible horrible leadership.
What is “being treated bad”?
The top of the food chain was nasty from TL on down and JG is the king.
Managers get treated like craap, then so does the associate. Unfortunately it all trickles down. It needs to be fixed from the top.
