That's easy, take our money. Out contract is violated daily and we can't even get a claim for it much less a thank you. UP got 1000 for working through covid-19, NS took our free turkey dinner on Thanksgiving at the hotel. This place is comical

What did ANY union do for ANY of its members? They negotiated a BS contract, increased your dues, provided weak representation in a greivance hearing, folded like tissue paper when the RR threatened action, and pretended to be working for you! I was a union member for 30 years, and I'm glad to say I'm not anymore. I will NEVER trust ANY union again. The unions nowadays have forgotten why they were made in the first place.
Seems a bit harsh...
You sorry union folk, especially Bellevue mechanical, your tears are the lube I use to fk your feelings. Keep crying, it helps ease your pain and increases my satisfaction
Wow someones sarcasm detector is broken.
Not a dam thang
"Well you used to get t-shirts and hats or a cooler or something. Those were the days. "
Wow, it doesn't take much to get you a chubby does it?
Who cares about that materialistic garbage?Stand up for the damn members!!
It’s time for unions to quit trying to win little arguments through arbitration (where they always lose) and grow a set and call for a nation wide strike! NOW, not after Christmas when business gets slow. Wildcat and shut the rails down, that’s the way it got done in the day so it’s the only thing that will work now. And so what if union bosses have to spend.some time in jail, it’s about time they make some sacrifices!
Orange Jebus hates unions but he luvs U... That and a bux buys a cup of coffee
Let’s see. Took my money, moved heaven and earth for the rep to stay on the shift he wanted whenever there was a job shake up. got new jobs posted with decent days off on the shift he was on. Would not fight for the contract. Work out “deals”with management without voting. Use my money to take trips, remind us any pushback will open flood gates, and any contract violations we were told the company has the right. Send union big wigs to our meetings to lie to our faces, and do not know the contract at all. Yep, that about sums it up... taxation without representation.
Not a damn thing as usual!
Robbed our money with no representation at least that's what the IAMAW has done for us.
Well you used to get t-shirts and hats or a cooler or something. Those were the days. Now you hear "Just be glad you have a job".
not much, not much indeed
