I worked in a completely different industry before coming to Sabre and they pay is leaps and bounds above...

With Texas having a minimum wage of $7.25 an hour and so many out of work right now...your message is not really appropriate and you sound foolish. If YOU feel under valued, do something about it. Don’t try to take everyone down with your negative perceptions.

$90k a year for one person is more than most American families brought home in 2019 which was on average $68k. For a family.

Strange to see that if someone is trying to help you and showing you the real situation out of Sabre, people are saying it fake. Well I am completely agree with the original post. Started career in Sabre as contributor and promoted to senior. Gave 5 years to this company and in return got less salary and pennies in bonus. Resigned in June and just like original post member settled in good company with very good salary hike plus sure shot good bonus amount. Really Sabre is underpaying and IT market is good outside. Once you will leave the company then you will realize that why even you wasted these many years in Sabre. Start exploring new jobs in 2021. Sabre has very good talent and can get any good job very easily. Good luck everyone.

fyi, the ranking is:
contributor, senior, team lead, principal
it also depends on what is the job role: support, development, operations, management
and the type of work and complexity of the job function.

BU and location (I was US but not DFW) matter.

Manager here: had a contributor or two in that range

If contributor level made 90k-120k, no one would leave. 😂

To the original poster: The salary info noted is nonsense, no VP or SVP got "millions in stock", and everyone who was eligible for VCP was awarded only 50% of potential. So, first, you are to distrusted on the facts. Second, I think it was great we got VCP and the week off, notwithstanding the attempts on this board to spin both as either some vast conspiracy or not of value, particularly given the economy and travel industry; and, so does everyone else to whom I've spoken. So, you're likely either a troll or one of the edge-case perennial malcontents that you find in any company and that you certainly see posting here. If you ever were an employee, based on your behavior here and lousy command of the facts, I'm glad you're gone and wonder if you really left voluntarily or were invited to seek other opportunities. Being in Dwf, I think we are lucky to see anything at all via VCP. Writing is on the wall that end game is that only office left in Dfw will be CEO working remote. Big question is who will CEO be?? Airline biz will recover but not sure the old biz model will though, and not sure we are up to challenge of new realty. All the best to us that have hung on so far!!

but if you are comparing a dev in dfw. You're range is a joke. A contributor is like a college grad. 60-70k tops. in dfw. (thats market. i know. i hire them every day). 120k ? lol. in your dreams
