Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Layoffs should be in Alaska

Poor management, like the Unknown Unknowns guy, incompetent new hires, facebooking and PowerPoint stealing millennials, and exploration who had to look at the results of very small independents to find opportunities in COP Alaska's own backyard, How can they all be employed?
Ahh, that's right need an office in Alaska for all of those Houston Management boondoggles to fish in Alaska.

EOI’s will cover the reductions needed. There will be very few impacts in Alaska. You would know this if you listened to the town hall.

Years ago there was a rumor the Alaskan business was going to be run out of the Calgary office. But then, no trips to Anchorage for ELT and managers. And how can you take a family vacation to go whale watching in Calgary? Place needs to be shrunk by half or more.
