Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

ASM's

I hear BBB will not be moving forward with the hours we work. By that I mean the 50 hour ASM will not be reduced to 45 next month.

Anyone know the deal with this? Supposed to start next week and nobody can give an answer on how the asms should be scheduled.

Cant keep part timers or find any to work so why would they. Hire 6 and maybe 2 will stay for a month, and call out every other day. Part timers to fill all the people they laid off was bad idea. Many retailers failed at this before.

I'm ASM 50 and currently working over 50 every week. Never expected to go to 45.

No BBB put it on hold... Till the holiday season was over, middle of January to take place. Plans are still in place, but corporate is wondering if 50 ASM will quit. DM's are asking SM if any of there ASM's will quit.
Just the facts guys, and girls .

I’m so glad you climbed out from under your rock.
You’re a little late we heard this 3 months ago.

There's no way!!! I believe it also. The stores are a train wreck, BOPIS, Curbside and fulfillment. No help, all you do is run around in circles.
