Why all the questions about work trucks? What are they up to this time?

My guess is foreman and above will have to get their own vehicle and get a monthly stipend and lower mileage reimbursement or they will do a full reimbursement for mileage and no monthly stipend.
Probably just another method for “Operations Excellence” to tighten their noose on us. Wouldn’t it be nice if that department and their budget actually did something useful to excel our operations instead of just worrying about playing big brother? Heard that we need to be on the lookout for Wood to take our jobs.
Lots of ‘costs savings’ when a PE firm is approving the budget. Bet CAPEX is over.
Probably seeing who can share trucks and at what level to have people get their own trucks and be reimbursed for them. Went down this path 1.5 yrs ago and they almost pulled the trigger on it. Probably hear something on it in January. Some sort of cost savings attempt is my guess.
