So is Frier having a nervous breakdown or what? These last two emails are rambling, vague, and refer to a company culture that I have not seen him make any effort to promote or embrace.

Freier is one of the best leaders that I’ve ever seen. He completely took care of us during the pandemic, supported us in the field with commissions guarantees, and trying to revive the culture that’s definitely taken a hit due to COVID, integration, layoffs and more. What do you guys expect? If T-Mobile didn’t do the layoffs there would be tons of complaints on too many people. That dude isn’t perfect, but since you’re so smart you guys tell me what you would do better. If he wasn’t here I would really fear what would happen then
And omg, have you looked at our employee Twitter feed? Just downright embarrassing watching other employees do their best attempt to slobber all over and kiss Freier's a**. "Please send me pink gear, please please please???" (i.e. please don't lay me off next.."
My god, pathetic and completely embarrassing. They do realize NO ONE outside of our employee base looks t their stupid, mo–nic tweets, right???
There was this one guy, girl, friend, you get it. This person worked for Nextel, then they worked for Sprint, and now T-Mobile (through two mergers basically). Both Nextel and Sprint were great companies to work for, from what I hear. This person recently told me that they were working 3rd shift in IT. They were getting salary plus OT and 15% shift diff for working nights and weekends. This person just told me that they were informed that they would no longer be getting OT or Shift Diff. Now this person had volunteered to do this night and weekend work for the 15% pay bump. It was not mandatory, and no one else on the team wanted to work the shift. When this person requested to go back to days due to not getting paid for 3rd shift any longer, that person was told they could not do so. This person is now forced to do 3rd shift/work every weekend for base pay less any OT of course. My friend said they can see the on the wall. Just "my friend's" humble opinion. Oh, one more flower they gave to my friend. They told the person that they should be happy they still have a job....LOLOL. How nice....go pink!!!! cough.... Sorry, my friend just coughed. My friend is of the opinion that they’re currently trying to blow people out the door. From what I hear, they’re have some success in their efforts. The virus will eventually blow over, but this friend will still remember. If they will do this to my friend without batting an eyelid, I wonder what else they would pull out in the next few months? My friend said, "it is what it is", but thought it might help others trying to make some hard calls.
I didn’t see the email but I can tell you from working there in the past this guy Freier is no leader. People fear him because they know eventually they will be laid off. He does not innovate. He manages with an eraser instead of a pencil. We are losing money, what department can I lay off. He thought he was smarter than the people who built metro and it is now evident that he failed AGAIN! The only people who fail more are meteorologists except for the San Diego weatherman/ woman. Ask this question, what did he make better?
I can tell you from a senior mgmt position I'm in that the real monetary costs of the merger are starting to hit the books, they're not "imagined" costs anymore and it appears they are bigger than expected. Maybe explains some of his nervousness?
There are still far too many high paid field mgmt positions at this time. I'm starting to get uncomfortable, 2021 is approaching fast and not sure if I'll have a job by spring. Certainly further cuts are coming, no question.
As far as culture, it just don't see a good culture here now. The only thing positive it seems anyone does is bark about their magenta gear. But that doesn't make us any money. Probably going to get worse before it gets better.
