Please speak up and ask for an independent audit
I used https://integritycounts.ca/org/imperialethics to request an independent audit to investigate statists around the discrimination against visible minorities / gender or specific career level individuals. it’s fast and can be strictly anonymously ..you may leave an email to be contacted for further investigation or to be communicated the result of the audit/investigation…please speak up…if an independent auditor finds the discrimination, you can even ask to have you job back. Even if you sign the package, despite is says you are going to not claim any further compensation, since you had not proper legal consultation, you have a right to appeal and reverse the process, otherwise you can claim damages in the court…so please speak up and spend 20-30 min of your time to voice your concern, ask the individuals involved in this Canada Study to be responsible and be transparent …we can not figure out how many percentage of the this 300 people were from visible minorities or targeted mid career groups ( it seems the company intentionally avoided the senior people/ near retirement, managers to save money on the pay out or early career folks (for now)… the only way to find out is by requesting an independent Audit/investigation to force the company to share information with the investigators and prove the discrimination . I used the integritycounts before, it’s process to report issues like this or harassment anonymously

Thanks for the initiative. Recent experienced hire (90%) with visible minorities are the victims. It’s a clear discrimination. However, Management played the trick as they also laid off some employees (only 5% to 8%) with past hired (10 to 15 yrs with company and non coloured).
