I see more store closures are happening. I hope those that are affected either find some other employment ASAP or are offered some type of recompense if they decide to stay to the bitter end. Either way I wish all of you luck in the future. And for those who haven't heard anything yet and believe they are safe, keep in mind the end of the year is around the corner. Prepare yourselves!!

Is this an advice column? Tons of info online about growing fields, fields that match your personality, etc Most state unemployment/employment offices offered free counseling pre pandemic..check to see if they are doing it remote
Apparently the only advice is to avoid retail?
Great Post..it's refreshing to see someone who understandswhat has been said time and time again. cannot figure out why people keep posting the same thing..I understand being upset..even bitter but move along. Retail is not for everyone. Retail has changed a LOT with online shopping. Retail has changed even more with Covid. If you really like retail high end retail can make a good income. But you need to work your way up. And those stores are only in large cities. But seriously..move along
The company has repeatedly stated they are closing 200 underperforming stores and stores that doesn't make sense to operate. Earning reports, articles and MT have been transparent about that. Nobody is safe it's RETAIL. Retail will always be unstable. Once again you want stability get out of retail. More closing stores to come. More layoff to come. More work load to come in a ALWAYS ON OMNI company. I work at target and bbby. It's the same BS.
