Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

Barnes & Noble is now like Joan Crawford...

Box office poison.
I saw an article promoting our city's shopping mall and they didn't even mention our store. Wow, how the mighty have fallen. It's time to pack things up, Christina and don't forget the liquor.

I'm glad someone has a sense of humor while my hours get cut to nothing, I can't afford anything.
I'm trying to find a real job.

This is hilarious, but also true and very sad. Too bad B&N didn't take the high road and respect and look out for their best workers and hire good upper management to make the right decisions. We wouldn't be in such a hopeless mess.

ALL bad decisions that got them where they are today.
No customer or employee confidence.
They saved money FIRING full timers with benefits and lost even more money !
Losing the money of The 3000 plus in 18, their friends, their families. They never recovered from that, then the virus. Then more employees let go.
They’re ALL shopping elsewhere!

Nice metaphor. She was way past her prime and starred in a lot of c-ap in her later years. Barnes and Noble is definitely past their prime.
