Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Maskless Managers

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but our employees are now worse than our customers with not following guidelines with masks and distancing etc.

I shouldn’t have to walk into my store and the first thing I hear is an assistant manager with his mask off loudly b–ching about how overblown Covid is, it’s just the flu, nobody’s dying from it anymore and on and on with his childish conspiracy theories. Raging on like the immature id–t that he is.

Every minute that the store is not open for customers, every single associate in the building has their mask off. Even if they’re all standing next to each other. Every meeting, every class, everyone standing around a desk, everybody’s got their damn masks off. If you want to call some of the masks. All the gaiters that everybody wears I can see right through their mouth like a clear stocking. Or worse, people have worn the same mask for six months now. All shredded and gross. Hygiene is non existent in my store.

The customers complain about it to me all the time, asking me who made all the employees immune and not them? There is absolutely zero leader ship with any of this. These random emails corporate sends out about guidelines what a joke. Until you start forcing your managers to enforce the guidelines, and have them have some kind of spine and leadership capabilities, this company is in the toilet. It’s definitely affecting our sales and consumer confidence.

And to all you other conspiracy theorist down players, I don’t care if it is just like the flu. Do you want the flu? Do you want to go through that? Because you know how many people are hospitalized with the flu or die? Just try holding your breath for as long as you can, even when it starts to hurt.. That’s what Covid is like.

Everyone in our store does pretty good with wearing the masks. I have rarely scene anyone without one and usually it's the outside services coming in to do resets at night.

It's time for those in "at-risk" groups, or individuals that are too concerned about C19, to begin self-isolating themselves and let the rest of us get back to the practice of living our lives.

We've all been slaves to the mask and to the nonsensical social distancing "recommendations", yet "cases" are still on the rise, (totally debatable).

It's over. Either you're going to get on with living, or you're going to be fearful and demand further restrictions or your, supposedly, inalienable rights.
