Feeling kind of relieved that I don’t need to see those double faced puppet managers who do as they are f—ng ordered by their XOM bosses. I don’t have to worry about a darn ranking system that no one knows how it works. I don’t have to see the president of a company who can’t read his name unless he looks at a piece of paper given to him by XOM.
I know it’s going to be hard to find another job in the current environment but I think staying at IOL would have been worse.

“Anyone axed after Dec 1 is getting screwed by the new DB pension commuted value formula.”
You were lucky. Anyone axed after Dec 1 is getting screwed by the new DB pension commuted value formula.
Keep your head up and soldier on. I got terminated by IOL couple months ago, got a new job doing what I love, paying more $ n no BS
No I haven’t seen any restrictions
Does the package have restriction about you working for other oil and gas competitors within certain period of time?
F— you IOL
I’m relieved too. Actually, I’m pretty happy about it. Good luck!
